LATEST NEWS ... IMPORTANT UPDATE
It is with a heavy heart that due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we report the cancelling of all JINSKI 'live' shows at least until late autumn and probably well into 2021. This of course includes the annual summer tour across Scotland that ususally happens in July/August.
Due to social distancing restrictions all JINSKi activity has been suspended ... Steve and Dave are 'resting'! Well that's not quite true, Steve has been working on some solo material and an EP is being scheduled for release before the year is out.. More news on this little adventure to follow shortly.
Please keep checking the Gigs page for updates on next year's touring schedule.
Other news .... if you haven't seen it already a video was posted on facebook and YouTube of the JINSKI tune 'Song for Europe' and you can check that out here
See GIGS PAGE for upcoming events and details
JINSKI sometimes call on the services of a host of wonderful musicians but most of their 'live' work is as a duo. They are equally at home on the big stage, at festivals, in small theatres, village halls, folks clubs and House concerts.
For more details on upcoming gigs including how to get tickets please visit the GIGS page.
To book JINSKI for a concert pleae contact us through the CONTACT page e-mailing your enquiry for the attention of Rob Wright.
Equally at home headlining or in support, JINSKI have opened shows for Lindisfarne, Kathryn Tickell, Joe Jackson and Kate Rusby to name a few. Festival appearances have included SummerTyne Americana at Sage Gateshead and Shrewsbury Folk Festival . They've trodden the boards in Concert Halls, Folk Clubs, Arts Centres and lots of other venues including the legendary 12 Bar Club in London. They've played music with wonderful musicians including Karen Tweed, Jim Hornsby, Neil Harland, Andy May and Pete Chandler They've rubbed shoulders with the likes of Mark Radcliffe and John Bishop. They've played 'live' on BBC television and radio.
The JINSKI 10" vinyl EP 'Live Long' released as part of Record Store Day in April'15 is finally available as a download. We have had lots of requests for the two songs previously only available on vinyl 'Never Gonna Work Again' and 'Top Of The Tree'. Both have become standards in Steve and Dave's 'live' shows over the last few months as well as receiving a fair bit of radio play across the country.

Joined by Neil Ramshaw on drums and Dave Maughan on bass with The London Supporters branch of the Northern Ireland Football team's Green & White Army providing a first class chorus, the boys had a hoot! The song is a reworking of the Smokie hit 'Living next Door To Alice' retitled 'making Our Way To Paris'. See the news story below for details as to how this all came about ...mind the story is not over yet ...we are pleased to announce that the charity Northern Ireland Cancer Fund For Children, to which profits from the record go, has just been made the Northern Ireland Football Association's official charity for the European championships. There may well be more to come ...an appearance on Graham Norton?? ... maybe!!!
Steve and Dave released this little Xmas song in December 2016 and we think it is still pertinent. It was recorded and mastered at FACE Music Productions in Newcastle by Dave Maughan.
