Watch acoustic roots duo JINSKI (Steve Wegrzynski & Dave Kennedy) as they travel from gig to gig and town to town. How many roads?
Onstage banter from The Freshfield Pub in Hightown, Liverpool.
Steve and Dave played short acoustic sets at three record shops in the north east of England as part of Record Store Day on Saturday April 19th 2014. Their whistle stop tour took them firstly to RPM Music at Old George Yard in Newcastle Upon Tyne, then it was down to 'Sound It Out Records' in Yarm Street, Stockton for a lunchtime show before heading back up the motorway to 'Reflex' Music Store in Nun Street, Newcastle for a late afternoon slot. In between gigs soft drinks and Greggs pasties kept up energy levels...a splendid day!!!
What does it mean to "Live Long In The Day" ....... so many people have responded to the lyrics of this song on the new JINSKI album 'Down Here'. This is one response made by Grand Gestures, a group of older dancers.
Filmed by Frances Anderson.
Acoustic roots duo JINSKI perform their own song 'Top of the Tree' at The 12 Bar Club in London. The studio version is on their 10" vinyl EP 'Live Long' which was released on April 18th 2015 as part of Record Store Day. It is distributed through Lucky Smile Records/Proper Music Distribution and is available in stores and online or by visiting jinski.com. Special thanks to Rob Wright for shooting the footage.
